Explanation To Books Madly (Madly #1)

Alternate Cover Edition

Madly is your average nearly-eighteen year old girl—for a princess, that is.

Madly James is thoroughly enjoying her internship in the small town of Slumber when the unthinkable happens—there’s a prison break in Atlas, the magically-protected home of Madly’s race. A traitor has set free eight Lore, the spirits of what humans know as fairy tales, and they are making their way to Slumber to awaken their descendants.

In order to save her home, the lives of her family, and all of humanity, Madly must learn to wield her exceptional powers and recapture the Lore before it’s too late and all is lost. But Madly’s only help are her two best friends and the Sentinel, Jackson Hamilton, that threatens both her heart and her destiny. Madly has loved Jackson as long as she can remember, but he is the one thing even a princess can’t have. Can she resist love to become the queen she was fated to be? Or can she find a way to have both?

This novelette introduces you to Madly and prepares you for the quest of a lifetime

Comment On Out Of Books Madly (Madly #1)
This was just a romance novel for young girls complete with brooding rude anti hero hunk, instaluv, dipsy dumb giggling airhead MC and dumbass friends, more luv and a background story with dangerous stuff happening that is overshadowed by the LURVE. Bleah!

So this novella is the first installment of the Madly series and i got to say it got me interested to check out the rest of the books. I think it was the first time i read a mermaid story (at least that i can remember) and well, of course so far we get glimpses of the world and of the crisis is going on.Now i must add that the description of Jackson is amazing *sigh* Well, i'm just saying :D

Madly is my first Mermaid book. I can't say I loved it though. I think I would have liked it more if the book was longer therefore giving me more time to get less annoyed with Madly. I am use to the girl MC's being all lovey dovey really quick. Sometimes it doesn't bother me. It all depends on how it is written honestly.Madly is the Princess of Atlas, at least I believe she is. The author didn't confirm it so I am just guessing since that is where she and her people are from. In her world mates

More Reviews Here: Readers Live A Thousand LivesI am a terrible person. We all know I adore any and all M. Leighton books, so why it took me so long to start this series I will never know. This novella was so much fun and has me ready to dive into the rest of the series. Ive never read a mermaid book before, but if there are others like this, I need to fix that. Madly is a fun character. The kind of character that doesnt like to take no for an answer, has no problem breaking rules, but isnt

This novelette is a quick read & it definitely caught my attention! I haven't read a lot of books about mermaids, but this is going to be awesome I'm sure. Plus I really want to see what is going to happen as far as the plot & of course what will happen with Jackson. Madly & Jackson are intriguing, that's all I'm going to say :)I recommend it!

That may have been the longest it's ever taken me to read 30-ish pages. I shall now drop this book. Thusly.

A joint review for book one and two together. May contain spoilers.I was looking for a short read and can across Madly on Amazon. I first noticed the amazing book cover and then I read the blurb and I instantly sold. Now let me just say Madly completely surprised me and had me captivated from start to finish. I loved it! And of course, I went straight on to read book two, Wolfhardt and loved it even more. Who would have thought mermaids and werewolves could work? Well it did and I fell in love
