Rendition Concering Books Never Been Kissed (Never Been #1)
Sera Delos has a secret. She wishes it were something important or life-altering like owning a key to a blue Police Box that’s home to a time-travelling alien, or that she must hide the secret identity of her alter-ego.
No, Sera’s secret is un-extraordinary. At twenty-five, she’s never been kissed. There just haven’t been many opportunities for the self-proclaimed nerd. There have always been too many shows to watch, too many books to read, and the rest of the time is spent fangirling over Tom Hiddleston.
When the hottie next door and his son need a ride to the hospital, and Sera becomes the only available driver, her life is changed forever. Hunter MacLaine makes Dean Winchester seem like a mediocre-badass, even if he is a diabetic and doesn’t think much of himself.
An old flame, nerdy references and the ups and downs of slowly falling in love with her next door neighbour, Sera’s wondering the obvious. Maybe, just maybe, if all the nerd-gods are smiling down on her, Sera Delos might have just found the man who her first kiss belongs to.

5 stars to nerdy girl!I.AM.SO.HAPPY. At twenty-five, shes never been kissed. There just havent been many opportunities for the self-acclaimed nerd. There have always been too many shows to watch, too many books to read, and the rest of the time is spent fangirling over Tom Hiddleston. As soon as I read the blurb, I knew that I need to read this because THE BLURB just literally describe my life right now!. This is my first book by C.M Kars, and I FRAKING LOVE it! And why do I love this book so5 Extremely Beautiful, Nerdy, Geeky Stars!!! I am in loooove!!! Oh yeah, baby, I am!!! Finally a book with a nerd which likes the same books and shows that I love. I mean there are books with nerds who are more like 'I love pc games/weird shows/comic books and that's it'. The nerd from this story it's a girl, she loves Harry Potter, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Sherlock, Sons of Anarchy, Supernatural etc and based on these facts I think I'm a huge nerd even though I've never seen myself as one ( I
DNFBoth characters were annoying. He was a jerk and she was an idiot. The geekness was way overdone...it drove me insane.

I read this book in conjunction with book 1.1 Never been Loved as it is the same story from Hunter POV I believe it gave me more depth. I realize now it might have been a mistake and maybe one of the reasons my rating dropped down. I will review the two books in one. I believe this book had a lot of potential but I dont think it totally delivered. Whilst I liked Sera and Hunter they were really all about drama and mood swings Seriously their were giving me whiplashes.Hunter self-loathing and
I LOVE this book! I was hooked from page one and could not put it down. The main character, Sera, is awesome. She is a nerd who speaks in movie quotes and as the title says, she's never been kissed. She struggles a lot throughout the book with her self-image and has very little confidence in herself. She's funny, sweet, thoughtful and kind. She's also snarky, tough and stubborn. I absolutely loved her and you can't help but root for her throughout this story. I loved Sera's use of movie quotes
I really thought I'd like this book since the MC is a super nerdy-girl like me. Fun at first, loved the funny tee shirts and the Batman underwear. Harry Potter geekiness? Bring it on! And on. And on?Yes, the nerd lingo was over the top. Hard to believe she talks that way when her social group doesn't. She's 25. There is no way she watched He-Man as a child. When she pops out, "By the power of Grayskull!" as an expletive in front of her normal-guy next door neighbor, there's just no way. I object
2.5 starsI didn't enjoy this book as much as I wanted to. I honestly thought I'd love it since Sera and I seem speak the same language; She loves reading; cannot imagine how her life without Harry Potter and if she has to choose, she'll choose Batman over Superman in a heartbeat. So you see, it was so easy for me to connect with her.Apparently sharing nerdiness isn't enough for me to fall in love with the story. I really liked Sera's personalities; she's kind, funny and proud of being a nerd.
