Representaion In Pursuance Of Books A Man
"What's the point anyway — Of suffering, dying? It teaches us to live, boy. A man who does not struggle does not live, he survives." (quote from the book)The book is a pseudo-biography about Alexandros Panagoulis written in the form of a novel. Fallaci had an intense romantic relationship with Panagoulis. She uses the novel to put forth her view that Panagoulis was assassinated by a vast conspiracy, a view widely shared by many Greeks.

This story is so culturally observant that it's admirably humourous, even at the tensest moments! Passion all over every page. Its been a long time but I kept the book, because I was moved by a woman's love for a man who was fighting tyranny. The way she wrote, her words reached out to all who have fought tyrants and how I would have wanted to by loved and remembered by a woman if I was ever in such a situation.

Worth reading. Anybody who'll read the book will learn a lot from it. It'll open your eyes on things you can't see though you can clearly see them. It'll make you see things from the writer's point of view and would let you understand why the poor ARE still poor and the rich, who're already rich, still become more richer. **May both their soul(Oriana and Alekos) find each other and walk together eternally in peace...**
One of the best account read so far on the partial life facts of a man such as Alekos Panagulis. More than an account, she wrote an history of a man and along with it she wrote history that is in no book. I had a very high curiosity about all the story while reading the book and I was researching and reading. This is superb.
A book about a life of a revolutionary man told by his extraordinary lover. A romantic picture of a man alone against the world with his visions and dreams that seemingly only his death could fulfil. His extraordinary lover was Orianna Fallaci, who, I think, is such a good writer, their becoming lovers seems to be conveniently conspiratorial. The hero should die young, and the lover would write his story. The story is told in the second person voice, You, which cleverly enables readers to
"It is a dense book that leaves you no space to breathe really, it takes you and forcibly places you in the midst of a maddening situation of a hero bent on self-destruction."read more: http://likeiamfeasting.blogspot.gr/20...
