Commentary Out Of Books Case Closed, Vol. 1 (名探偵コナン [Meitantei Conan] #1)
Watching the show and I also have to say that I love the manga. I read it on my way to school and also during my free time. As my have said this manga is the best of the best it doesn't need a review to begen with, but if it did the number of stars would br out of this world. The book starts of with Jimmy Kudo, who is a teenage detective and also a very good soccer player. He also goes to school with his childhood friend and love interest Rachel Moore, whose father is Richard Moore (a detective

Since someone had recommended this to me as an old favorite, because I like manga and have just been rewatching some Sherlock and reading some Lawrence Block, I thought I would read this goofy manic first volume (of more than ninety!?). Shinichi Kudo (name changed to Jimmy for English-speaking sensibilities?!) is a teen detective who helps the police solve cases. In the process of investigating some men in black, they make him drink something that turns him into a 6-year-old. He assumes a new

One out of the few manga series I follow. I love Aoyama's complex mystery storylines - I am always amazed at the tricks his criminals come up with, and how Conan always seems to decipher them. But with any series, if you stretch it out too long, the stories become repetitive and trite; I believe Detective Conan's volumes are numbering in the 50s now, and I don't feel like keeping up anymore. I think a lot of readers will agree that the series needs to end. Soon.

Manga are usually rather difficult for me to read, and I found this somewhat easier than most. A common difficulty for me is not being able to tell the characters apart, and that was no problem here at all. The protagonist, high-school-age Jimmy, is given some kind of poison which reduced him to the size and shape of a first-grader. He continues to help solve crimes, though it's more difficult now that everyone sees him as just a little kid. The mysteries are short and solved quickly. The real

This manga has been translated to Indonesian since 1996. The latest volume in Indonesian is # 48. I've read all of them. Not only that I've been collecting them for the past 11 years. Wow.That didn't sound so pathetic in my head. The murder mysteries are always good. They're also hard to crack, unless you take some time scrutinizing every sentence in every panel.I never do that, of course.SPOILER ALERT.The biggest "holy s--t" mmoment is when I read # 42 - the showdown between Conan + Jodie -

I read this while over at my friend who's trash for Case Closed/Detective Conan and-I'M TRASH FOR DETECTIVE CONAN, but i absolutely hate this american edition because the names were changed and it's just plain dumb, the japanese major in me is just plain offended. But I love these characters, and this manga is so beautiful and smart. I still would rather recommend the anime ~
