Article Epithetical Books Pandora Hearts 1巻 (Pandora Hearts #1)
It got a little creepy, but it was really good!

Comments are like crack, so please support my addiction here.Having finished volume 1, I only have one major thought - what the bloody hell is going on?This is the second time I'm reading this. The first time I read it was directly after reading Dogs and it really altered the way I digested this volume. The second time was right after reviewing Soul Eater, and we all know how that review went, so my second reading of this volume was a lot more favourable than my earlier opinion of it.Before I go

i'm really confused, but this series has my attention.

I've been having neck pain lately, which keeps me up at night. So, I decided what better way to divert myself than by rereading a most excellent manga series?Pandora Hearts is one of those series that I knew I would love once I gave it the time it was due. It's complex, both in plot and the way the story unfolds. It's easy to get lost between volumes (when you're waiting months in between releases). What makes it great, though, is that it's a really wonderful series for rereading. You simply

This is such a great way to start a series! There's a really good balance between exposition and action here, and I'm honestly impressed by it. I feel like Jun Mochizuki knows exactly how much information to reveal, and how much to withhold. Events start taking off almost immediately, and as a reader, you know just enough to be able to follow them, but you're also really confused as to what's actually happening - which is exactly the point. I've heard that this is a common thread throughout

I don't think this one is for me. I get why other people would like it, and there's nothing in here that's bad on the surface. It just does absolutely nothing for me. I don't care about the characters or plot so far, and the art isn't good, unique, and/or interesting enough to pull me in despite myself. I've heard that it gets better as it goes, but I just don't care.

A really excellent and entertaining first volume. Its had to review manga early on but Ill defo be sticking with this series for a bit
