Interpretation Toward Books Miscellaneous Stuff & Stuff (The World According to Crash)
I don't read a lot of non-fiction. I'll get that out there at the beginning. I write fiction, and that's mostly what I read. And if you're like me, and you don't, either--make an exception for this, I ask you. The humor and detail of Jim Henry's autobiographical, anecdotal observations here paint the picture of a man who has lived life like a series of adventures, some happy, some sad, and all containing the fuel and the fruits of great things gained from experience. Whether he's explaining the genesis of his nickname/alter-ego "Crash Cromwell", talking about his career as an editor, or explaining the arduous process of establishing himself amongst the faculty of the University of Phoenix, Henry always juxtaposes the trials of life with humor and the chance for success in every struggle. Did I mention it's FUNNY, TOO? If you only read one work of non-fiction this year--make sure it's this one.

A great book to read especially if you like Jim Henry's Antiquity Calais books. It's all about him and how he feels about things in life. Some stuff is really funny, some is sad, but all of it is interesting and well worth the read.
