As always, I have read a nice story in a series that makes the reader feel good. I love the characters and the calmness of the writing and how it shapes every chapter. I felt very happy with how things turned out between Ellie Davis and Lane Howard.

This has been a disappointing reread. The first time I read this book, my mother had just given birth to my sister at 42. Since the story focuses on Marty and her pregnancy at 44, I enjoyed it. I actually read it in one day because I couldn't put the book down. I have been excited to reread it. And then I started it. All the charm I had found with it was pretty much gone.
