About a Dragon (Dragon Kin #2)
For Nolwenn witch Talaith, a bad day begins with being dragged from bed by an angry mob intent on her crispy end and culminates in rescue by—wait for it—a silver-maned dragon. Existence as a hated outcast is nothing new for a woman with such powerful secrets. The dragon, though? A tad unusual. This one has a human form to die for, and knows it. According to dragon law, Talaith is now his property, for pleasure…or otherwise. But if Lord Arrogance thinks she’s the kind of damsel to acquiesce without a word, he’s in for a surprise…
Is the woman never silent? Briec the Mighty knew the moment he laid eyes on Talaith that she would be his, but he’d counted on tongue-lashings of an altogether different sort. It’s embarrassing, really, that it isn’t this outspoken female’s magicks that have the realm’s greatest dragon in her thrall. No, Briec has been spellbound by something altogether different—and if he doesn’t tread carefully, what he doesn’t know about human women could well be the undoing of his entire race…
Good. Almost great. Oh yeah, I liked it!To tell you the truth, during the first few chapters, I was a little hesitant as to whether I should put this book down or not. I struggled with the story and the character of Talaith herself through the first half of the book, so much so that I felt the urge to DNF. But for some unknown reason, I decided to at least delve a little bit further into the story and see if the second half would make up for the first one. Thankfully, the outcome didnt
Once again this author has had me laughing so hard I'm practically rolling on the floor. The constant hilarity, the one liners, and the sheer craziness of this family of dragons cracks me up! The over the top zaniness of the dragons and their antics is a nice change of pace from my regular reading. Every once in a while I just want to sit down with a book that is meant to be pure entertainment. I want to howl with laughter and torture my husband by reading scenes to him. This series fits the

Cheesy story of a witch and a dragon, typical damsel-in-distress-rescue plot. I liked Briec , he was a powerful and imposing dragon. Too bad he is paired with the witch, Talaith, who was no damsel and certainly not mate material for a dragon of a powerful royal lineage. I was rooting for Talaith the Stupid to be burned on the pyre. These two just did not give off mate vibe, just paired up and packaged on paper. This author has no clue how to develop intelligent heroines of gravitas and she
"About a Dragon" is the story of Briec and Talaith. When Breic rescues the "witch Talaith from being singed by her husband and villagers, he only expects to be paid back in bed romps and get her moving on. However one thing leads to another; and they both embark on a passion filled love journey. This book was as funny as it was awesome. Notably,-the banter between the h and H. It goes on and on and on, especially since the h is a chatterbox, but oh so fun to read-the antics between the dragon
Yay!...yay!...yay!And here i thought it couldn't do better... it was better than better, it was everything!...Certainly this series is my favorite book candy so far, everything's just funny, sexy, and badass....And best thing is my previous questions was answered in this book... And oh! how i love this Dragon Family! they just keep on getting bigger, more characters coming and i never thought having this many characters could be as entertaining, well for this series anyway!...;DBriec was just
The story gets better and better, so is the plot.I love the fact that the love story between Briec the Mighty and Talaith the Nolwenn Witch continued the storyline started in the first book.Great characters build again and new ones added to the story. The whole action was not centered only on Briec and Talaith but continued and followed Annwyl, Fearghus, Morfyd, Brastias and the dragons and their kingdom plus the creation of the Abomination children and more troubles. What is grat, again is that

Buddy read with AlyTalaith is having a pretty rough day, she was dragged from her bed in the middle of the night by a mob of angry villagers and now she's about to burn on a pyre because they think she's a witch. As if that wasn't bad enough the person who comes to her rescue isn't her husband (he was too busy egging on the crowd) but a huge dragon who she is pretty sure intends to eat her for a snack later. Talaith isn't about to go down without a fight though and Briec may have caught moreGood. Almost great.
