Initially I gave Waking Rose 4 stars but during the time it took me to organise my review, I decided it was worth 5 stars.This has been one of the most intriguing and fulfilling reads I've experienced in a long time. I confess thaf I prefer Bear and Blanche over Rose and Fish, so it was with mild enthusiasm that I read this one. The fact that Bear, Blanche, and Mrs. Brier were hardly in here didn't help things.
